At Kıyıkent University quality is not a year-end check but a cycle that runs every semester: plan, implement, measure, improve. The Quality Coordinatorship, reporting to the Rectorate, collects the self-assessment reports of all units every year and publishes them in line with the framework set by the Higher Education Quality Board.
Programme outcomes and measurement
The learning outcomes of each programme are defined under knowledge, skills and competence headings and mapped to courses. At the end of each semester, student course surveys, alumni tracking surveys and employer interviews are used to measure how far outcomes are achieved.
Accreditation work
Application processes with the relevant field accreditation bodies are under way for engineering, architecture, nursing and medicine programmes. Accreditation status is stated up to date on the programme pages; no commitment is made on the outcome of processes that are not yet complete.
Student feedback
- Course and instructor surveys at the end of every semester
- Semester meetings with faculty student representatives
- An online suggestion and complaint form linked to Student Affairs
- Meetings between the Rector and students (twice a year)
You can access quality reports, directives and internal assessment results in the Regulations and Forms section.
