Yes, it is a foundation university. Our diplomas have the same legal validity as state university diplomas; the university is supervised by YÖK.

Quotas of 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% scholarships are defined according to your ÖSYM placement ranking. Quotas vary by programme; details are on the programme pages.

To keep a scholarship you must stay above the GPA lower limit; for full-scholarship students it is 2.50. A disciplinary penalty can also lead to the scholarship being cancelled.

In English-taught programmes, those who pass the proficiency exam after registration start their department directly; others go to a one-year preparatory class. Preparatory class is not compulsory in Turkish-taught programmes.

Yes. Transfer applications are announced by Student Affairs at the start of each semester; conditions follow the Transfer Directive and YÖK legislation.

After final registration through the student information system. Quotas are limited; priority is given to early applicants and full-scholarship students.

A grade average of at least 2.20 (4-point system), a foreign language certificate and a motivation interview are required. Applications open in the autumn and spring terms.

Yes. Students with a GPA of at least 3.00 can apply for a double major from the second year; those with 2.50 and above can apply for a minor.

All bachelor's programmes have a compulsory internship of at least 30 working days. The Career Centre places students at more than 250 partner companies; students can also propose their own placement.
