The International Office is the unit that plans our students' overseas experience and the first year of international students in Turkey. For outgoing students it provides one- or two-semester exchanges through Erasmus+ and bilateral agreements; for incoming students it offers reception, orientation and residence permit support.
Erasmus+ mobility
- Study mobility: 1-2 semesters, ECTS recognition and a monthly grant
- Traineeship mobility: 2-6 months of work placement abroad
- Staff mobility: teaching and training for academic and administrative staff
- Applications open twice a year in the autumn and spring; selection criteria are grade average, foreign language and a motivation interview.
Bilateral agreements
Beyond Europe we also have double-degree and exchange agreements with universities in Asia and North America. The current list and quotas are published at the International Office.
Incoming students
A one-stop office for international students: acceptance letter, residence permit, dormitory placement and a Turkish preparatory course. Through the buddy programme, students are guided by an upper-year student in their first week on campus.
