Our students and alumni tell their story
I started part-time work at a software company in my third year and received an offer before graduating. Our lecturers were really beside us in our projects.
Trying venous access for the first time in the simulation centre before a real patient gave me great confidence. We started clinical rotations ready.
I studied a semester in Germany with Erasmus+, did an internship there and now work in the same city. The International Office made the whole process easier.
I produce my own models in the digital fabrication workshop. Architects from industry also sit on studio juries; the feedback is very valuable.

What applicants ask most

Fill in the information form and an adviser will call you about programme and scholarship options.
Prospective student formIs Kıyıkent University a foundation university, and are its diplomas equivalent?
Yes, it is a foundation university. Our diplomas have the same legal validity as state university diplomas; the university is supervised by YÖK.
How is the scholarship rate determined?
Quotas of 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% scholarships are defined according to your ÖSYM placement ranking. Quotas vary by programme; details are on the programme pages.
Can a scholarship be lost?
To keep a scholarship you must stay above the GPA lower limit; for full-scholarship students it is 2.50. A disciplinary penalty can also lead to the scholarship being cancelled.
Is the preparatory class compulsory?
In English-taught programmes, those who pass the proficiency exam after registration start their department directly; others go to a one-year preparatory class. Preparatory class is not compulsory in Turkish-taught programmes.
Can I make a transfer?
Yes. Transfer applications are announced by Student Affairs at the start of each semester; conditions follow the Transfer Directive and YÖK legislation.
When can I apply for a dormitory?
After final registration through the student information system. Quotas are limited; priority is given to early applicants and full-scholarship students.
